Elderflower and orange jelly

Ingredients

  • Half a bucket of Elderflowers
  • 1 liter of freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Juice of 6 lemons
  • 2x 500 g gelly sugar 2: 1

Cooking

Cut off the stems from the Elderflowers with a scissors, put the flowers in a large pot. Add orange juice and the lemon juice. The flowers should be covered with juice. Leave for about 12 hours overnight. Then pour through a fine sieve to gain the juice completely. To get sure measure the amount - it should be 1 liter of juice.

Add the sugar to the juice, boil up and cook for about 5 minutes. Absolutely make a gelling test! Then fill the jelly hot in the prepared small glasses.
